This may include your name, email address, phone number, organization or school name, role, and any message, requirement, or feedback you submit while interacting with our educational programs, hackathons, internships, or software services.

  • Program, event, partnership, or project requirements you voluntarily share
  • Basic website usage analytics and diagnostic data (via Vercel and third-party tools)
  • Photos or recordings taken during CCQ events (with consent)

How we use your information

We use collected data to respond to enquiries, coordinate workshops and innovation programs, evaluate partnership interest, improve our website and programs, review feedback, and communicate updates you have requested.

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. Data is used only where there is a clear operational reason tied to our educational, community, event, or service-related activities.

Data sharing and third-party services

Your information may be shared internally with CCQ team members who need it to respond to you, coordinate a program, plan an event, or deliver a service.

We use the following third-party services to operate our website and deliver our programs. Each service has its own privacy practices:

  • Web3Forms — form submission delivery service
  • Vercel — website hosting and serverless functions
  • Google Fonts — font delivery (may collect IP addresses)
  • WhatsApp — business communication via wa.me links
  • LinkedIn / Instagram — social media interactions

DPDP Act 2023 — Your Rights as a Data Principal

Under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP Act), you have the following rights regarding your personal data processed by CCQ:

  • Right to access — request a summary of personal data we hold about you (Section 12)
  • Right to correction — request correction of inaccurate or incomplete data (Section 13)
  • Right to erasure — request deletion of your data when the purpose is fulfilled or consent is withdrawn (Section 14)
  • Right to grievance redressal — file a complaint if your rights under this Act are violated (Section 15)
  • Right to nominate — designate a person to exercise your rights in case of death or incapacity (Section 17)

Consent and lawful processing

When you submit information through our forms, communicate with us, or participate in our events, you provide consent for CCQ to process your personal data for the purposes described in this policy (Section 6, DPDP Act 2023).

You may withdraw consent at any time by contacting us at support@in2ccq.com. Withdrawal of consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing that occurred prior to withdrawal.

Children's data and parental consent

Many of CCQ's programs involve students under the age of 18. In accordance with Section 16 of the DPDP Act 2023, we take additional precautions when processing children's data:

  • Verifiable parental consent is obtained before collecting personal data from minors
  • We do not track, profile, or monitor children's online behavior beyond what is necessary for program delivery
  • Parents or guardians may request access, correction, or deletion of their child's data at any time
  • School events and workshops follow appropriate safeguarding protocols for student data

Data retention periods

We retain personal data only as long as necessary for the purposes for which it was collected:

  • Form submissions (enquiries, feedback, registrations): Retained for up to 3 years for communication and program improvement
  • Website analytics and diagnostic data: Retained for up to 12 months
  • Event participation records: Retained for up to 2 years for program continuity
  • Client project data: Retained for the duration of the engagement plus 1 year for support continuity, unless otherwise agreed

Data security measures

CCQ implements reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your personal data against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. These include:

  • Secure form submission through Web3Forms with encrypted transmission
  • Hosting on Vercel's secure infrastructure with industry-standard protections
  • Access controls limiting team member access to necessary data only
  • Regular review of data handling practices and third-party service providers

Cross-border data transfer

Some of our service providers (Vercel, Web3Forms, Google) may process or store data on servers located outside India. CCQ ensures that these transfers are conducted in accordance with applicable Indian data protection laws and that adequate safeguards are in place.

Grievance Redressal

If you have a complaint about how CCQ handles your personal data, or if you wish to exercise any of your rights under the DPDP Act 2023, please contact our Grievance Officer:
